This is how it began.
Some people knew from the very first moment.
It took others longer.
And some… some never saw it at all.
People disappeared from their homes.
Screamed where no one could hear them.
Never to be seen again.
This time we have cameras.
Proof that isn’t so easily contained.
But the average person doesn’t believe his eyes.
School trains us to trust authority.
For such a time as this.
Still - the truth leaks out, rumours the entire world can hear this time and understands (the digital age makes universal brainwashing so much harder) - but which half the population finds itself blind to.
Hypnotised by masters who were bought long ago.
The world sees -
but they do not see -
as their neighbours are taken.
Killed in broad daylight.
Mercilessly beaten.
Thrown into trucks.
Never to be seen or heard from again.
Families are driven apart because some can see and some refuse to.
It has happened before.
This is not new.
Merely the same old wound that festered and grew.
A hatred and fear that was never properly treated.
Hold tightly to your communities.
Pray that those who see it don’t make the mistake of calling on people to be peaceful or play by the rules until they’ve crippled our ability to fight back completely.
And if you speak out, be willing to pay the cost.
It is already greater than it was last year.
To those who cannot see, who refuse to see - I’m sorry. I’m sorry I don’t have the words to wake you. I’m sorry for the horror you will feel when you finally see it. I’m sorry you have been so spiritually failed in so many ways. But know that when the time comes, you, too, will be held to account. As we all must.
To those who do see - never let your fear consume you. Listen to it now more than ever. But do not let it rule you.
And to those who are apart of this madness - may you see yourself for who you truly are when you look in the mirror. And may you have the courage to face that truth and find redemption. In this life - or in the next.
All my love,
Anna Marie
