A Warning with Your Offering:

Donations and offerings have earned a bit of a sour reputation over the years. 

Many spiritual leaders - I use that term loosely here - abuse them. Demanding money. Promising all sorts of things if it's given. Telling you their deity told them that you're supposed to give. 

That is not something I will do - and if I ever do, I expect to be called out. I am not above reproach. No one is. 

I do not want to hear about anyone going in debt or going hungry because they've given to me - and if I find out you did, my response will be to scold you. Lovingly. But loudly. 

I've known many a person who has let their children go without to give because they felt "led" to, because they were lied to. 

Don't. You. Dare. 

 

With all of that said, I'm going to continue teaching, offering encouragement, wisdom, correction, and love to the world, to our online communities, and in my own physical community. 

And I'm going to do many of those things without demanding compensation. 

Because that is my calling.
